Proper care and storage of your wig can help extend its lifespan and keep it looking fresh and natural. Follow these simple steps to ensure your wig stays in great condition.

1. Daily Maintenance
• Gently detangle your wig with a wide-tooth comb or a wig brush before and after use to prevent knots and tangles.
• Avoid excessive heat from styling tools. Always use heat-protectant sprays.
• Minimize product buildup by using fewer hair products.

2. Washing Instructions
• Frequency: Wash your wig after 8-12 wears or when product buildup occurs.
• Steps to Wash a Wig:

a. Detangle: Use a wide-tooth comb to remove knots.
b. Prepare a gentle wash: Fill a basin with lukewarm water and mix in sulphate-free shampoo.
c. Soak and cleanse: Gently immerse the wig and swish it around. Avoid rubbing or twisting.
d. Rinse thoroughly: Use clean lukewarm water to remove all shampoo.
e. Condition: Apply a lightweight conditioner, avoiding the roots. Let it sit for
a few minutes before rinsing.
f. Pat dry: Gently press with a towel to remove excess water.
g. Air dry: Place the wig on a wig stand and let it air dry completely.

3. Storage Guidelines
• Use a Wig Stand or Mannequin Head – Helps maintain the wig’s shape.
• Store in a Silk or Satin Bag – Prevents frizz and dryness.
• Keep Away from Direct Sunlight & Heat – Store in a cool, dry place to avoid fading or damage.
• Avoid Humid Areas – Moisture can lead to odor and mould.
By following these care and storage tips, you can keep your wig looking natural, soft, and long - lasting!
